Accreditation
Registered Training Organisation
Safety Training & Compliance (STC) is a Registered Training Organisation.
Registered Training Organisations (RTO) are providers of courses endorsed by the Accreditation and Registration Council (ARC). RTOs are also accredited to assess participants against each course's criteria and, as a result, the qualifications they issue are nationally recognised.
ARC ensures the quality of vocational education and training services throughout Australia, with agencies operating in every state and territory.
This means that STC’s courses have been assessed by ARC against the Australian Quality Training Framework 2007 as meeting Australian Standards. That is, each course satisfies industry needs and has appropriate outcomes which meet or exceed the standards of the Framework.
All accredited courses, such as STC's, are entered into the National Training Information Service (NTIS) database. RTOs are also listed in the database as accredited providers of each course.
Some courses provided by STC, such as Work Safely at Height, have the additional benefit that they are a recognised unit and can be put towards gaining a qualification, in this case the Certificate II in General Construction.
