1. Electrical Awareness:
- CPCCCM3003A Work Safely Around Power Sources, Services and Assets
This unit of competency specifies the outcomes required to work with or operate plant in or around close proximity of power sources, services and assets for the general safety of personnel and equipment. It includes all occupational areas that may require working near electricity.
2. Manual Handling:
- CPCCCM2004A Handle Construction Materials
This unit of competency specifies the outcomes required to safely manually handle, store and apply environmental management principles associated with construction materials and components. It includes preparing material for mechanical handling.
3. National Construction Induction (White Card):
- CPCCOHS1001A Work Safely in the Construction Industry
The National Construction Induction (White Card) is a mandatory requirement under the law for all persons wishing to carry out construction type work. It allows persons doing the course to develop basic skills and knowledge in relation to risk management and relevant Workplace Health & Safety obligations and requirements. It covers the national unit of competency CPCCOHS1001A Work Safely in the Construction Industry.
4. Risk Management for Supervisors and Managers:
This course aims to familiarise participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to apply the principles of risk management as an integral part on an effective OHS management system. The course should also assist in the development of appropriate attitudes to enable supervisors to effectively manage health and safety in their areas of responsibility.
5. Work Safely at Heights:
- CPCCM1006A Work Safely at Heights
This unit specifies the outcomes required to work safely on construction sites where work activity involves working above 1.5 metres from the ground level and where fall protection measures are required.
