Training Manager
John Nott

John is the Training Manager for Safety Training & Compliance.

He has extensive experience in the building and construction sector. Trained and qualified in design and construction, John has worked on commercial and residential projects throughout Australia, UK, Europe and Asia.

John has always enjoyed working and communicating with people. So it was a natural transition to part time teaching in the TAFE system and then, more recently, to full time training.

Over the last ten years John has worked with the building industry in Canberra and regional New South Wales in many capacities.

He has delivered training and information programs to managers, builders, contractors, apprentices and cadets as part of the Housing Industry Association, and then with the Master Builders Association. Topics covered included project management, site administration, general construction, communication and occupational health and safety.

John brings a broad understanding of the practicalities of the industry, as well as a good dose of humour and common sense to his training sessions.
